According to my OB, I'm a special case for him. I'm his first patient with known Crohn's disease (yay me??). HAHA! That being said, along with my prenatal vitamin, I have to take 8 horse pills of Pentasa to keep the swelling in my intestines down, and every 8 weeks, I have to go into the hospital for an infusion of Remicade, which includes the meds of Sudafed just in case I have an allergic reaction and a very very mild steroid. The Remicade is keeping the Crohn's disease in "remission" according to my GI doctor.
Hello everyone! I'm hoping to get some help, advise/comments from moms who took keepers during their pregnancy.
I've been on keppra for almost 7yrs and am planning to start a family. I'm hoping you can share your experience with me abt taking keppra uring pregnancy, if you had to increase your dosage? What abt breast feeding? Did you have natural birth? Any effects on your baby so far?
I'm sorry I'm bombarding you with question but like any moms out there, I want to make sure my men will not affect my baby.
Looking forward To hear from you!
