Trying to finalize baby's name. We are set on Mabel- the middle name is the hard part. Our last name is one syllable, rhymes with "spilled". Which name do you like best?

I like Mabel Celeste, sounds like an old hollywood movie actress to me

Thanks! I love Celeste too, my DF isn't a fan. He says he would be okay with Josephine but he doesn't love it. He and the girls want Harper, but I want something more frilly and feminine. And I am getting final say considering Mabel was his first choice.

I picked Harper. I love the name Celeste a lot but I like the flow of Mabel Harper better.

Good luck on choosing!

I like Celeste and Harper but I said them both with "spilled" and Celeste won. It's still old Hollywood but more feminine than Mabel.

I did the same w/ Peyton's name. I wanted a unisex first name and a really feminine middle name so it's Peyton Elise.

I like Mabel Josephine "Spilled" best. Celeste is a close second though.

Mabel Josephine is my favorite, those 2 have the same old fashioned feel to them.

Isabelle is way too common nowadays and Celeste (as well as Isabelle) then have too many Ls once you factor in the first and last names.

Mabel Harper just doesn't flow to me.

Just my thoughts!

Thanks Kris- I keep coming back to Mabel Josephine, it just seems right to me. I plan to call her Maisie, (sort of a combination of Mae & Josie) so that had been my #1 pick all along- but everyone keeps saying its super offbeat and to go with something more modern/frilly.

I picked Mabel Isabelle because I think it flows nicely with the syllables and two names together
