After all this car stress I think I'm just gonna walk everywhere! We were suppose to pick up our car yesterday after they cleaned and fixed some of the repairs and I was not happy with it! The sales guy is someone we know so he's great but the finance guy was really ticking me off! He kept saying well it's not going to be perfect it's a used car and blah blah blah. There was a huge dent in the trunk that he kept saying I would never notice and we would have to pay for it if we wanted it fixed. This car is under warranty and none of us noticed it weeks ago or they would have fixed it then. After getting very upset and almost walking away from the deal they agreed to fix it. Now I have to wait at least another week or so and I've been waiting two weeks already! I'm starting to second guess if we should have even bought it. It's a nice car but it is used with tan interior and for the price I don't know if I will be truly happy with it. I think thats just my hormones talking though because its a great car! I don't know why I'm having second thoughts when it's a car I've always waned but I'm thinking I should've just done cheaper and new for a car. Will I get over all the little things wrong with it? I really hope this is just the pregnancy making me crazy! I already bought is so I don't have a choice really. Also we put down a huge down payment so I think that's another reason I'm second guessing myself. I think I was expecting it to look cleaner and better after they've had it for two weeks. *sigh* Just can't tell if I'm being too picky. They gave me a loaner car that is brand new so I think that's why I'm not as satisfied with the other one but my old car was used and I loved it even though it was older and had a lot of flaws. But it didn't cost nearly as much as this one. Ugh sorry just needed to vent!

What a headache, I'm sorry! I went through buyers remorse with the car I bought a month ago. I kept looking at brand new cars that were the same price as the used car I REALLY wanted. I've wanted a luxury SUV since I could remember. Well I went ahead and got the used SUV and as I started driving it everyday I kept finding stuff wrong with it and it was pissing me off. Why didn't the car dealer tell me about this crap?! (Well duh because they just wanted my money)
Maybe it is pregnancy but it still pisses me off, I just spent $300 to get new speakers in the doors, $200 for a new tire and $50 for a freakin antenna! I should have guessed parts for a Lexus would be expensive but sheesh.
Sorry for ranting on your thread, but I feel your frustration!!

I understand you too. I rushed and bought a car a year ago that I didn't like and still don't. I only bought it because I was tied of waiting on rides.I'm seriously thinking about letting it go.

I'm sorry they are slacking! Cleaning and a few small fixes shouldn't take this long! Buying a car is a big purchase, so it's natural to have some worry/stress about it. Hopefully once you get it you will love it! There are some small scratches in the van we bought in May and although I wish they weren't there, there's no way I'd want to buy a brand new overpriced car and then have a scratch get in it anyways.

What did you get???

Thank you and I'm sorry you are feeling the same frustration!! Rant away! It's good to know I'm not alone. That is exactly how I was too. I picked the used luxury SUV that I've been wanting over a cheaper newer car. This car is under warranty so if anything mechanically or major is wrong they have to fix it. They just put 4 new tires on it so at least I don't have to worry about that. It's more cosmetic issues that are wrong with it that I'm afraid I won't be able to get past. It's tan interior and it looks so dirty to me already even after they cleaned it. I'm used to black interior and DH says it's in good condition for being used so I can't tell if I'm just being picky or what. What year did you get and what color inside and out?

Thank you! That made me feel a little better. I'm hoping I can get past some of the stains and scratches once I have it. This car is so expensive even used because it's a BMW. I've been saving and saving to be able to get it but I'm having a hard time being happy with this used car. It was very expensive and it's not as "new" as I thought it would be after they cleaned it. We got a great deal on it for what it is but I could have bought a brand new car so the same price. I owned a BMW before this car though and I love love love the way they drive. I'm really hoping it's just my hormones talking.

Mine is a 2004 and it's black inside and out. What about yours? What kind of SUV is it?
