I'm getting no relief from the pain in my wrists. I was in the pool and went to hold my niece and I couldn't grab her. The minute I had her just a little bit, the pain shot through me. Luckily, she decided not to come to me and went back to my mom because she would have sank.

I praaaaaaaaay this goes away by the time the babies are born (or at least by the time I leave the hospital) because I will not be able to hold them or pick them up-- even with the braces on.

That hormone loosened these joints so badly, I feel the bones move if I do something with my wrists the wrong way. Oh the pain!

I had it terrible with my DD. The pain did go away after pregnancy gradually- after a month I cant recall feeling any pain.. is the pain just in the wrist? Can you make a fist?

Yes, it's mostly the wrist joint/bone. i can flex my hands down and to the outside but i can't really backwards or towards the inside.

I've been in braces for all but this pg. The pain does go away gradually after birth. I have my chiropractor reset my wrists every visit and do my exercises.

Nah, this is definitely bone.

I just really hope it goes away or taking care of these babies by myself is going to be hard.

Do you have a wrist brace? I have cysts in both of my wrists (one is worse than the other though) and sometimes I can't even move it hurts so bad. If I bend my wrist you can see it! I sleep with wrist braces on when they really hurt.

Hope you feel better!

Yuck! I hope you feel better soon. Does Tylenol help?

yes i wear them everyday and to bed. have for the last month. there's nothing i can really take for pain. if we're allowed tylenol, then it must be useless. just my jaded thinking.

I found wearing the wrist brace did nothing for me.. the pain was still there.. it should go away after pregnancy so your babies should be fine

Have you tried taping your wrists? That might work better than braces. Electrical tape works best. Put your thumb and pinkie together so your carpals are rounded. Then tape around the fleshy part of the base of your hand to keep your hand in that position. Braces tend to flatten the carpals when they should be rounded.
