I'm ridiculous and can't keep track of dates, so my doctor follow up is TODAY at 4:30, not tomorrow

Today I need to:

Take the dog for a walk
Empty dishwasher
Load dishwasher
Work on emptying nursery of all non-nursery stuff
Do several loads of post-vacation laundry!
Doctor

I have 65 things on my list. SIXTY-FIVE.

I am a stressed mama right now. Most of it is cleaning (and I do break some stuff down, so like 5 of those things are in the main bathroom).

And I have to make sure I have my cell phone on hand all day as I'm waiting for a call from the hospital to set up the stupid consult.

All I want to do is curl up on the couch and watch TV.

Laundry and dishes are the big things right now. I was out of commission all day yesterday with major back pain. We also still have lots of boxes to unpack and sort through in the garage. Then pick up DD up from school and meet DH at work to switch cars/kids so I can go to work. Oh, I also need to give DS a haircut and bath before his first day tomorrow. Time to get rid of the 'fun' mohawk summer cut!

I am an obsessive list maker, and it drives my hubbie crazy!

I previewed the Taskify app for iPad when I was working on my MFA, then decided the full version was totally worth the money. Love it! Cozi just wasn't enough, and making my lists on the comp got unruly - lol.

So far I have gone for a walk, taken daughter to the park in the process, found the darn school supplies list, thrown her art shirt in the wash, and read a little while at the park.

Time to balance accounts, pay bills, and do the monthly budget.

HOLY LISTS! You people are making me hyperventilate. I'm sure if I listed it all out it would be quite extensive, and don't get me wrong, I love a good list, but holy balls.

I feel slightly traumatized from reading everything you all have to do - and then thinking about what I SHOULD be doing instead of watching House Hunters.... :/

I did walk the dog though... that's good, right?

i, too, love lists. it drives Nate crazy.

things i need to do today:

eat a healthy breakfast (trix counts, right?)
get dressed
check justmommies
check blackboard
do any assignments due soon (took a test so far- woo)
finish flash cards for civilizations
start flash cards for art history
find a lamaze class near me
email my mom the sonogram pictures
email my mom the updated invitation
go over my registries and make sure i didn't forget anything
put my clothes away
put Nate's clothes away
take care of the dishwasher
make sure the animals have water (i always forget this)
do a load of laundry
call the garage and see how much it'd cost to fix the gas leak
get Nate up and ready for work

it's a lot but it's all little stuff so if i ever get out of bed, it should get done fairly quickly.

Woke up .. got myself and toddler ready
Made breakfast
Working on invoices and scheduling for work (3 hrs of no pay for this but stress answering emails from parents who have scheduling conflicts!)
Sat down to watch a movie withv toddler the Gruffalo- love this movie recommend it to all you moms
Went on JM to relax-- yes somehow venting and complaining relaxes me- thank you moms for listening
Now I have to change into my work clothes.. do my hair.. to look semi presentable and work 4- 9 no breaks.. will have to sneak for snacks
at 9 will get toddler ready for bed and read her bedtime story
10ish in bed probably on JM and complaining to my husband about my day.. and answering more emails to parents!
I wonder how my DH first day back at work went... cause we both might need a hug

And after making lunch, I slammed into a wall of exhaustion, and I'm not even done with the money stuff! I think most of my uber long list will be getting moved to tomorrow.

Little bub is just sucking the energy out of me today!

Kris, if you didn't make enough Apple Butter to share with everyone on the board, then you can't have any... That's not nice.
