When I went to L&D last night for real contractions that were 2 minutes apart. I was having to struggle to cope with some of them.

Right before I went, I had a terrible upset tummy, and after that, they slowed down to every 4 minutes. During the 3 hours I was in L&D they slowed to every 6-8 minutes so they released me.

The midwife was the same one who cared for me when I came in at 29 weeks. She told me as she was releasing me that she had called their student midwife to be on standby to come and watch, because when she first saw me she was sure I'd be having a baby.

I am still 2, completely soft, and the baby is at zero station.

The midwife told me that she had absolutely no idea when the baby would get here, and that it could be one day or one month. She said if I had unmanageable prelabor for weeks (my fear), they would consider inducing me at 38-39, but that would be a decision to take very seriously. She could see that I was dealing with more than just BH on the monitor, so at least she believes that this has been hard to cope with. It's something I don't want to do, but would consider if I am laboring for 6 hours a day every day like this.

Georgia did great in all her monitoring and the midwife felt her and said she was a good size and obviously very strong and active.

I am exhausted and I'm scared to do anything for fear that the contractions will come back. I don't know what's worse- dealing with them every few minutes, but getting things done, or laying in bed feeling sorry for myself and my daughter, but not hurting.

I feel for you . I don't want a baby this early, but I don't know how I'll be able to do this for weeks. At least it's better today for me. Did yours slow down?

When did you have your other girls? Stella was induced at 39w5d, so I know it's not normal for me to cook them early.

I hope you get lots of rest and don't have to deal with contractions for awhile.
I been also in bed most of time at home .. My DD watches more cartoons then I normally allow her and brings snacks and toys for us. Feel terrible that I am less active but if I do something in the house I have a hard time to make it through work in the afternoon ( short breath, ligament pain, puffy feet).

Oh no! I went through months of that with my last. I couldn't tell when it went from false labor to real labor. It got me tho 4 cm and I stayed like that for months! I kept him in until 38 weeks, but it was pretty miserable. Rest as much as possible!
