Chrystmas is the only thing I decorate fur. I have tons of tubs full of Christmas decor from my grandma after she died. My sister helped me decorate the first year we got everything, she was much better than I am. :-(
On the tree we put bulbs and it's prelit.
Um....which tree? LOL! I told yall I go nuts for Christmas! We do a huge real tree in our den, which is where the presents go and we spend Christmas morning. It's got red and white lights, red poinsettias, gold bows, red beads, and all our family ornaments. Then I do a fake one in my sun room that is my "fancy" tree and is all silver and white. Then there is a small tree in our hallway where we put our "special" ornaments like baby's 1st, etc. Then the kids do a fun little pink tree in their room with colorful ornaments. Ohhhhh I can't WAIT!!!
We have a smaller pre-lit tree because I wanted something for my first year of being away from my family for Christmas to make me feel good. And since then we've been stocking up on Christmas ornaments. There is no real theme for our tree. I can't wait to see my new Disney ornament on our tree this year that we got at Disney World this past July!
the present tree: the biggest one, we usually set up a train/ town underneath. we put the presents in between the tracks and the tree trunk. for decorations we put on the random assortment of ornaments we've collected.. our "baby's first, second, etc. christmas" ornaments, hand me downs from my nana, things my dad's picked up at yard sales. we put silver lights and multicolored lights on it.
the front window tree: we have these weird lights that look like huge.. nasal aspirators? is the correct term (my sisters and i call them "snot sucker lights"). they're red, green, and white and we have matching ball ornaments that are covered in glitter.
the forest tree: this is a strange little tree that has branches wrapped around it like garland. we keep this on the breakfast bar.
the centerpiece: it's a little tree that's pre-decorated that we just stick on the living room table. it's a few feet tall or i wouldn't count it in this list. we have 3 or 4 other little trees we put in random locations all over our house, complete with tiny little fake presents under them.
