Yep, I have a boring uterus and cervix. I'm not dilated at all And found out that yes, my OB will be away the week of Thanksgiving (I'm due that Monday) on a cruise, and he's the only one in the office that will deliver a VBAC. So I need to have this baby before then, because I refuse to have a rcs just because he's out of town when I go into labor. For the epi, he said it's very rare that I would have such an extreme emergency that I would need to go under general for a c-section, and I can have the catheter for the epi put in place without any medication if I chose to. But anyway, now I'm just annoyed. I guess I'm going to make myself some RRL and hope I can get things moving.
What a bummer about the doctor! I was told I'm only about a fingertip dilated today. I feel like it's just because she didn't want to say I wasn't dilated at all. Hah! Fingers crossed that you can go a bit early so your doc can be there!!
