Breastfeeding and pumping for bottles. The whole thing is ridiculous! I'm bfibg Moira, pumping and bottle feeding Giselle. I bottle feed Moira as well with pumped milk. Moira is allergic to formula. She didn't do well on it before my milk came in. The Pediatrician wanted me to add a little to my milk to give her a bit more calories and it did not go well. Unless she falls off her growth curve, I'm not going to experiment with types that might agree with her. I keep forgetting to add it to Giselle's bottles. Its just one more step to an already too complicated feeding regimen. I can't wait for them to just be breastfed! Bfing has always been uncomplicated and easy, but this time its a part time job just to feed them!
Laura, homeschooling mama to Christine 1-02, Nicole 5-03, Everett 4-09, Alister 9-10, Moira and Giselle born October 24, 2013!
Breastfeedig and even that feels like a full time job as its every two hours since Clara has a cold and its only 5 minute feeds.
I tried pumping and it was sooo time consuming I spend 20 minutes for one bottle!
I have no idea how I managed to pump and feed my first. I don't have this patience this time around but will have to just deal with it once I get back into work on full schedule in January.
Exclusively breastfeeding, though she has had a few bottles of EBM. I do need to start building up a stash so I can be away from her for a few hours if need be, I just hate the whole process of pumping and BF is so much easier.
