X sleep the best in my bed or on my chest. How long should I let this go on before it becomes a bad habit?

Co sleep as long as your family likes. My ds1 around 10 months old started flip flopping so much in his sleep he kept falling off the bed. So I did it then. Transition was easy. He still sleeps in my room but just in his own bed. If you transition later you might have a few bad nights but it's alwAys easier then you might suspect.

My oldest slept in her own bed/crib from very early on. No matter what, I always made sure she first fell asleep in her own bed. As soon as she was able to climb out of her crib and then every night thereafter, I'd wake up to her in my bed anyway! I've co-slept with my younger two from the beginning.
