Brodee was feeling fine up until Wednesday...i thought he just had a cold since all of the daycare kids seem to have one..i called the Doctor Thursday because his cough sounded horrible. When we went in on Friday they tested him for RSV and it came back positive Im scared to death seeing my baby be so sick..his oxygen levels are good but he is super congested and wheezy when he breaths and he keeps running a fever 101-103 and he isnt sleeping well at all ... i took him to the ER Friday night because he was breathing strange and his fever was 102.7 and they informed me that they dont worry about babies fevers unless they have a 107-108 which to me is insane and i told them i would be back at the ER if he got up to 104. Has anyone else had to deal with this?

Yes, Audrey had RSV when she was 1 month old. She was in the hospital for a week. She is fine now, but I remember how scary it was to see her on the ventilator. Good luck, mama! T and P for Brodee!

Make sure they give a nebulizer to bring home. Depending on your income the state will even pay for it, if not its about 100.00 to 150. My 17mo old had it when he was 3mo old, and we did treatments at home, around the clock. He was much better in 1wk. This is extremely important, so please ask! Praying for a quick recovery!
