We've been so busy on the main board, that we've not checked in on this one.

How's everyone doing with their "trimming"?

For me, I slid off the wagon for a while and the weight I had lost was creeping back on. But it looks like it's starting to go the other way again and I've been increasing my exercise lately too.

Still gaining and re-losing the same 5 pounds here. The beginning of the month I decided to up my calories to try and see if that helped. Seemed to be working okay and then I started to slip last week - not getting my exercise in and then Josh's birthday. Hoping to get back on the band wagon this week though. Didn't meet my May goals - May was a lot busier than I had expected. Not doing so well on June goals either. Going to do better next month.

I didn't do that great in May either, and it's been scattered here in June. July will be our month for getting back on track!!!

I started a diet a month ago and am doing pretty good so far. I wanna join the people trimmers .

Is there a current challenge or how do we check in etc.?

Yay for joining in!

We've all slacked off on this sub-forum lately. Kelsey & I try to do a weekly challenge, and also we've done a monthly miles/minutes challenge where we all track our progress and motivate each other. And anyone can post various topics with suggestions, tips, etc on where we are at.

So happy to have you join us!! Like Becky said, we have been slacking something terrible in this subforum. I'm planning on starting a new "Miles or Minutes" challenge in July (the post/scrap challenge has me a bit preoccupied right now. ). But definitely feel free to jump right in with comments and topics!

Cool! I look forward to joining the challenge in July. I started my diet on May 16th. I am taking baby steps, because if I restrict everything and jump right into exercise I burn out too quick and will not stick with it.

Basically I am just limiting soda and candy right now. I was a 3-4 cokes a day, candy everyday, ice cream every night person and now I drink maybe two cokes a week and an occasional bowl of ice cream or hand full of m&m's. My snack foods are low sugar.

Next I'll be adding exercise of power walking several times a week
