Well I didn't do so well in July, but August is off to a great start.
I attended my first fitness boot camp on July 27th in hopes that it would motivate me to get my rear in gear. So far so good. It was fun and a great workout. I was feeling it for a couple days afterwards.
My plan worked...it motivated me. I've been walking a mile a day every morning since up to this morning. It was raining pretty heavily so I did an aerobic video instead. Think I may alternate between the two a little.
The same lady that put on the boot camp is doing a 12 week challenge that just started this past Monday. I am excited. She is a personal trainer and is donating her time and services for the challenge. Each person put in $30 to go towards a pot at the end of the challenge for the people who lose the most weight. I've met some great ladies and am so excited about looking better and feeling better.
I'll have to join you for September. Things have been so busy here this summer. I've totally bombed July and August. Kendra Goes back to school this Wednesday though, so hoping to get back into a structured day where I am able to get a workout in. No more flying by the seat of my pants every day!
