Tom boys seem to skip a generation in my family. My great grandmother was more of a "tom boy" (she was also a farmer's wife, so I'm sure not all that manual labor and wearing overalls was by choice). My grandmother was very feminine, always had a manicure, her hair done and always dressed to the nines and couldn't wait to get away from the farm. My mom doesn't care at all about that kind of stuff and has always been very active/physically fit, enjoys outdoors activities and stuff like that. I'm sort of a mix of both. I love to get dirty and play sports but I like to dress up, wear makeup, shop, all that stuff. If the pattern holds my girl would probably be a tom boy.
