WOW! I haven't been on JM in a long long time! I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nikki, I am 29 married to a wonderful man, Brad for 11 years. We hqve four kiddos, 12, 9, 6, and 2. And I just found out today we are expecting baby #5. DH don't know yet. Tomorrow is his birthday and I wrapped up the PT. I probably won't be able to wait until tomorrow though. I'm not completely sure how I feel about all this. Of course I'm happy but I was supposed to get my BC in this week. We have been doing great with natural family planning until one night of Passion. We both knew I was about to ovulate in 2 days but, you know....
Anyway, congrats to all of you and I look forward to getting to know you all.
Well congratulations to you!!! I know how hard it is to wait to tell DH. I can hardly wait until he get home from work to tell him when I find out. I almost blurt it out over the phone! And congrats on number 5! Wow! You're going to have to give me some tips. I am welcoming baby number2 on Jan. 28th. And BTW I'm Cecilia (27), wife to Jon (29) and Mommy to Annabelle (1).
Welcome! Someone was just saying to me yesterday that once you have 3 you can raise a million...probably because (usually) by the time you have a fourth the oldest is old enough to help or at least not hinder much....Congrats! I'm Maria. I am 35 & expecting my 3rd child with my spouse Rob. I also have an 18 YO who is the light of my life from a previous relationship (high school sweetheart.) Have you made it through the day without telling your DH? Do you know when you are due?
Thanks ladies! From my LMD I am due Feb 2. That will be nice since I have one in Oct. one in Nov, and one 13 days after that in Dec. We don't plan very well, lol. I am way more nervous with this one than any of the others. We thought we were done for awhile. We had plans for our property, now I don't know if its going to be done for a few more years. I'm also really worried about my youngest DD, Marienah. She's a high needs spirited child. She doesn't take well to change.
As for telling DH. It's been SO hard. I took a pic of the test and was going to text it to him bit my oldest DD and I both though that would be kind of mean. We don't want him sitting at work all day with this info and not being able to talk about it. I was talking to him earlier and told him to hurry up. And that his Bday present is waiting. I don't know how excited he will be about it at first, but he'll get used to the idea. I told him last week that I thought I was pregnant. He just said, don't say that.
