I hate when DF goes out of town. I can't sleep, I get depressed cuz DD goes to daddys every other day so I get so lonely and throw those emotions on top of this stupid mono and being pregnant and I'm a wreck. I have no appetite, I don't feel like doing anything, I'm just down right depressed. And I hate letting him know so I end up being really crabby (oops I swore and didnt even realize it cuz I was crying, sorry!!) to him. I'm just all weepy and miserable.
Thank you ladies.. I can't leave the house cuz of the mono. I come close to passing out just walking around the house. =( I think I'll call DF and tell him I'm actually depressed and see if he can cheer me up. =/ I'm sure I'll cry thru the whole conversation.
No his laptop crashed so we're down to just one laptop and one desktop. And he doesnt get smart phones ever because he's in the drilling industry and it'd get destroyed. He has to get those ugly bulky construction phones. =( Plus I wouldnt want him to see me crying, not attractive.
An elderly lady did her shopping and, upon returning to her car, found four males in the act of leaving with her car. She dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun, proceeding to scream at them at the top of her voice, "I have a gun and I know how to use it!
Get out of the car you dirty rotten scoundrels!"
The four men didn't wait for a second invitation but got out and ran like mad, whereupon the lady, somewhat shaken, proceeded to load her shopping bags into the back of the car and got into the driver's seat.
She was so shaken that she could not get her key into the ignition. She tried and tried and then it dawned on her why. A few minutes later she found her own car parked four or five spaces farther down. She loaded her bags into her car and drove to the police station.
The sergeant to whom she told the story nearly tore himself in two with laughter and pointed to the other end of the counter, where four pale white males were reporting a car jacking by a mad elderly woman described as white, less than 5' tall, glasses, and curly white hair carrying a large handgun.
When does he get back? I hate it when my dh is out-of-town too. He has been gone twice already this year for a month at a time. Annoying! Can't wait to have him out of the military and that won't happen for probably 10 years or so...
