EEEE! I just made a post over in the whats for dinner thread and noticed that baby is finally a lime! Woot! So much better than a prune. I am so excited to be onto more substantial produce!

Woo hoo! Limes can be bought separately. They are substantial all on their own. You don't buy just one prune, or just one olive! Very exciting!

I am waiting anxiously for mine to be a lime on Saturday! And who decided that a shriveled up old prune was a good baby comparison fruit? SERIOUSLY?!?!? It should have been something cuter like a kumquat.

Yeah, a prune is pretty lame. Anybodyinthere - you remind me so much of my college roommate, your posts always make me chuckle. A kumquat would be a better fruit

I love the lime this week, but oddly next week (tomorrow!) is a plum which to me seems smaller than a lime. Am i crazy?

Ha! After seeing this thread I took a tape measure out since i had both in the house... the plum was 5cm and the lime was over 6cm. Maybe we grow small plums out here in NJ, but i think the siggy people should reverse those two.

PS: You can call me Becca!
