I was thinking about you and your DD- how did the surgery go? (not sure if I missed an update?!) Anyhow, I hope she is starting to feel better and has a quick recovery!

Awww thanks for thinking about her and I! She is doing pretty good actually! Definitely better than I could have hoped for. So long as I get her medicine (tylenol with codeine) to her on time she is a pretty happy girl for someone who just had surgery.

I am so glad we did it. The dr said her tonsils were swollen and bad but that the adenoids were basically like a plug in there. And in spite of the fact that she has swelling still from the surgery she ALREADY is sleeping and sounding soooooooooooo much better. As far as I can tell she has not had ONE sleep apnea issue compared to uncountable amounts before! Makes me kick myself in the rear for not doing it sooner.

Anyway, thanks for thinking about us!

Glad to hear things are better! My DD slept much more soundly after her surgery too- but she's back to sleeping a little more "loudly"- no snoring, but just heavy breathing. She hasn't had an ear infection since having the surgery either- and she was up to like 8 ear infections in the 6 months prior to her surgery!

So glad things are going so well. Sounds like she's well on her way to recovery which is wonderful!
