I know many of you are grilling and such. We are just hanging out at home and are still undecided about dinner, lol!

I have a lentil-potato stew in the crockpot. Not very seasonal! But oh well, we might take it as a picnic supper with some sodas and salad. Maybe I'll make a custard to make homemade ice cream too!

I am going to a cookout this afternoon so I'm sure there will be lots of yummy food there. I'm bringing baked beans and a pineapple angelfood cake with berries on top.

I'm actually going to attempt cooking for the first time in weeks, if the dizziness holds off!

I managed to get hold of some English back bacon and English sausages (a guy here in Chicago makes them), and some Heinz baked beans... will cook them up with an English muffin and scrambled eggs.

Probably the least healthy thing I could think to cook, but so excited about the bacon and sausages that I don't care!!
