Firstly, let me say that I am loving being pregnant and am fascinated by the changes that seem to be going on in my body almost very day. I also know that being pregnant is different for everyone, and that reading about something is nothing like experiencing it first hand...
...but, has anyone else been amused by the difference in description to the reality?
Fatigue = going out for an hour resulting in a 2 hour nap to recover
Dry skin = entire body having the texture of crepe paper
Larger breasts = resemble glamor-model size breast implants overnight
M/S = feeling rough all day, every day for several months
Being pregnant is a gift and I wouldn't change it for the world, but my goodness, the books definitely don't exaggerate! Maybe its mankind's way of ensuring the continuation of the race!
