My feet are so so swollen...
Now the first thing that comes to my mind is my blood pressure. I have chronic hypertension that was treated with medication even before I got pregnant (I am still on the medication)
My bp at doctors has ranged anywhere from 190/96 to 180/90
and for the last two days my feet are swollen beyond anything I have seen before.
it has not been overly hot here.
does anyone know what else could cause it.
The skin on top of my foot also feels like it is being stretched like crazy and looks like it too
And for your viewing pleasure.....
(ignore my creepy long second toe...makes me self conscience about my feet)

You poor thing! I would defiantly keep your feet up tonight and call your OB first thing in the morning. They should not be that swollen at this point in your pregnancy.

My left foot is always swollen and i've had my blood pressure checked so often and it's always normal. I have no idea what causes it, but it's really annoying, so I feel your pain!

Call your OB as soon as possible in the morning. Blood pressures that high are very serious. That and your feet swelling is a cause for concern. Not trying to scare you, but as a cardiac nurse I'm very concerned. Sounds like you may need your meds adjusted. Keep your feet elevated and try to avoid sodium. Hope the swelling goes down and that you feel better soon. You may want to discuss your risk of early pre-eclampsia and what to look for with your ob as well.

my blood pressure issues started when I was pregnant with my first, it was while pregnant with him I developed high bp, it went away though soon after i delivered. With my second it came on WAY earlier and never went away after I had him. It use to be higher but I lost about 45 pounds this last year which helped a bit.
I know some of the basic signs to look for thats why instead of phoning tomorrow I think i will just show up to get it checked that way they can check my urine and such too.

Ouch, that looks painful. My leg swelled up like that once after a long car trip, it was horrid!

where you walking around a lot... Mine swelled last night after a long shopping trip. Couldn't even try on shoes. But I had my bp checked today and it was 108 over 64. Since you have a history of high bp I'd deff get to the dr asap. Take it easy. Hope you feel better.

the kids and I were on a mini vacation for two days (monday and tuesday) I did do some walking but nothing more then I would have done any other day.
Ive had my feet up for the last like 2 hours they are slowly starting to come but I will still feel more comfortable if I get my bp checked in the am
