Saw this question posted on FB and thought it would be fun for us. What is your favorite children's story?

When I was little I loved the "Poky Little Puppy" but now I love reading "I Love You Stinky Face" to my daughter.

I was always obsessed with The Little Mermaid. I had everything from curtains, bedding, rugs, toothbrush and even plates and cups. Oh and can't forget the book bag that I toted around until it was so full of holes it couldn't hold anything!

BARNES & NOBLE | Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me by Eric Carle | Paperback, Hardcover, Board Book

Papa, Please get the moon for me! This was my favorite! It had pop out pages and a big glossy fold out picture of the moon. I read this book until it fell apart! I loved it!

This is tough because books are my passion! I love the message of "Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon" and both my kids loved "Goodnight Moon" as babies. We literally own hundreds upon hundreds of children's books and we read them all, so it's hard to narrow it down to my absolute faves.

We LOVE the Eric Carle books! Everytime DH sees a new one he buys it for Marina She so has him wrapped around her little finger! Books are her favorite thing to play with hands down!

Love You Forever

Bella and I read it about 50 times a day. I have it completely memorized.

My husband and son love Sandra Boyton books! They are silly and fun.

I'm more partial to young adult chapter books. Like A Wrinkle in Time, The Mushroom Planet books, Fudge and Super Fudge books... the list goes on. That's what I remember reading as a kid and liking!

When I was a baby I loved Pat The Bunny and Peepo, and all the Eric Carle books, and when I was a little older I loved Robert Munsch. There was also a book about a bear and a red wagon that I read over and over again - I think that might have been Eric Carle actually?

My parents bought me so many wonderful books I can't even list them all! I'm so glad I decided to save most of them, because that'll cut down on my baby expenses a lot - I would figure otherwise I'd be spending the same amount of money on books as diapers. I think reading is SO important!
