I think Hope sounds better with Elizabeth, but I love both names!
Sophie/Sophia is beautiful and seems to be getting more and more popular, while Hope is a name that has that classic feel to it. I don't think I've ever met a Hope!

I love both of them! But if it were me, I would rather use Sophia than Sophie, so that you'd have the option of the more formal/grownup version and the informal/younger version. My given name is Ann so I can go by Ann or Annie, but I used to know a girl whose given name was Annie and she hated it when she was older because it sounded too young to her. Sophie is one of my favorite names, if I hadn't had a cat with that name it would definitely be on my list.

I like Sophia/Sophie best. Both are great choices IMO though! I just think of Hope as a middle name, probably because one of my sister's names is Amanda Hope.

I like Sophie best but agree with the other ladies and would go with Sophia then have Sophie as a nickname.

Oh and of course I love Elizabeth.

I love Sophie Elizabeth, but I think Sophia Elizabeth has a whole different feel to it. I don't think you necessarily have to go with Sophia if you plan to call her Sophie...DH's great grandmother's name was Sophie and it definitely fit her better than Sophia would have.

I also love the name Hope and it's less common than Sophie if that matters to you at all. Both are beautiful names!

I love Sophia! Sophie is cute too but I would use it as a NN rather than the name. Im actually considering Sophia for this baby if its a girl.

I already know what girl name I'm going to use too and I haven't got a clue about boy names... so that must mean we're both having girls! *fingers crossed*

I voted for Hope. I personally like less popular names- being a Jennifer- I LOATHED having 4-5 other Jennifer's in my class growing up. And with Sophie/Sophia becoming so popular, I would go with Hope.

I voted for Hope. I think it's so pretty and classic. It's cute for a baby, a young girl, and it sounds elegant and professional for an adult.

Sophie is cute too, but I think it's way over popular and maybe not a name that an adult woman would like to have.

I voted Hope. My DD's name was almost Faith Elizabeth, so Hope Elizabeth is a similar type name. I just love the classic quality to it. Very regal!

I voted for Hope only because it is less popular. I really like both names, but tend to shy away from names that are at the top of the popularity charts. Also, I would go with Sophia/nn Sophie if I was going to use that name.
