Sooo...whew! I was cleared by my OB to continue half marathon training...which has been daunting since my pace has slowed WAY down and we've missed runs due to me being exhausted...I digress.

This morning my husband and I ran EIGHT miles!!! We took walk breaks and went s-l-o-w but I'm feeling good and am happy I did it!

What about you girls? What's your Saturday exercise look like?

Good for you! if only I ever had the energy to do that, pregnant or not.
My exercise for today consists of water balloon fights, playing catch, and blowing bubbles.

My daily exercise as long as I feel good is a walk. Not too intensive, but still movement. And we'll probably go to the pool today too. Oh yeah, and cleaning, does that count for exercise?

I love this workout video: Amazon.com: The Perfect Pregnancy Workout vol. 1: Karyne Steben, Elisa Llamido: Movies & TV

It has been too hot to walk here and I've been struggling to get moving but I feel like I get a good toning workout with this video. In the fall I'll walk several times a day.

I don't drive, but luckily everything is in walking distance. I also try to walk my dog daily, but that doesn't always work out. There is always cleaning as well.

boldmom, I am SO jealous. I was a runner, but I had a M/C and so this time, the doc said no running just to be safe. I miss it. I do the elliptical, bike, or row, but it's not the same. I had pictured myself competing in 5Ks with a little belly. :-(

I am doing nothing at all today! I'm exhausted. But I wait tables and I am on my feet 7 hours a day, so weekend is resting time for me. I do play with our two shih tzu puppies inside the house...oh and tomorrow is beach so I'll walk and get some exercise time tomorrow!

Maybe set a post-baby race goal...like a 5k or 10k 4-6 months after delivery...that way you have something to look forward to AND work towards after the baby arrives??

Before then...have a love affair with the elliptical or bike or whichever...at least you're not on bed rest, right?

umm zero energy today. the most energy i think is the trip to the bathroom I'm glad you can still run. I am not allowed to run on anything except eliptical. sometimes you just want your feet to leave the floor. I'm going to start my exercise program again soon though. I'm not remotely out of shape so im not sweating it.

My doctor actually I said I could continue running like I did before, but because of my m/c, I didn't want to take any chances. I walk as much as possible, but it's just not the same. The last time I ran was a 5k a couple days before I found out I was pg. I miss it so much.
