It is totally annoying that I am up at 1:50am eating Kellog's Corn Pops. Occasionally throughout this pregnancy I find myself eating cold cereal in the middle of the night because my hunger pains were waking me up! Earlier on, hunger produced nausea. Now, it's just a nagging, rumbling, empty feeling deep in my stomach. I am not a middle of the night type of person. I rarely wake up out of my slumber to do anything! Since being pregnant I have to say, I'm up at least twice to go pee, and sometimes even eat! I cannot tell you how bothersome this is. Anyone else have to wake up out of their sleep to satisfy their tummies? Does it bother you?

My 1 year old son still wakes 1-2 times a night and I always end up snacking when I'm nursing him because I'm just so hungry.

I'm right there with you! I have been eating cereal in the middle of the night, just so I can go back to sleep!

Although I do get up at least twice during the night to go pee, I've learned already to eat something right before bed. Usually it's a bowl of cereal (thank you Honey Nut Cheerios!), but if I don't eat, I end up laying awake for hours feeling nauseated and just off. So every night, it's snack time and I feel much better. It helps too because then when I get up to go pee, I can just get straight back in bed before I wake up too terribly much.

Im up twice usually to pee and I have surround sound going with two monitors on the kids lol. So sleep is interesting between them making noises and waking and my peeing. So far I have not had to eat in the middle of the night but I eat a snack at night as well to try to prevent middle of the night sickness lol.

I've been waking up a bunch to pee, and sometimes get a drink, but I fight fight fight the urge to eat, because I figure it'll just end in heartburn. Sometimes I'll put some PB on bread, if the growling rumblies are really bad.

ugh! i can totally relate. i wake up with hunger pains in the middle of the night and have to eat a little something just to make it go away because i know that the hunger pains can quickly turn into nausea if i let it go for too long! usually i eat some popcorn or a handful of goldfish or something... maybe a few pieces of chopped fruit.

I've started getting up for a midnight snack the last couple of nights. Its frustrating, not only am I now having to get up to pee, I'm also often thirsty (which means another pee an hour or so later), stomach grumbling and the last few nights have had insomnia as well!

And here was I, in the ignorance of first baby, thinking pregnancy was my last opportunity to sleep through the night for a while!

I am hungry ALL the time. My appetite is insane! Not to mention I have become lactose intolerant during this pregnancy so I can't just eat anything. It's quite frustrating!
