Well, I didn't see the doctor today, but the nurse practitioner did another exam and sent some swabs off to the lab for testing. She wants to check for additional bacteria. I've been consistently spotting for more than a week now and they can't seem to find a cause. The two could be related- or not. She wants me to follow up with my doc in a week, but I'll be out of town next week so I go back on the 9th.

Also, I had what I think was my 4th ultrasound so far this pregnancy. The baby was face down on his/her belly so we were only able to get a limited view. The tech printed out some pics of the legs and an arm- why she would think I wanted that vs. the whole body, I do not know. She wasn't as good as the lady that usually does my ultrasounds. But MOST IMPORTANTLY, the fluid levels were normal. So maybe I can safely say that I am/was not leaking amniotic fluid. I just can't imagine what else a large amount of clear, thin, watery liquid running out soaking my underwear and pants could be. Urine? Doubtful because urine has a distinct smell and color.

All in all, they are still inconclusive about whats going on but baby has a strong heartbeat 160/bpm, plenty of fluid, and I have a closed cervix. That's what I'll hold on to for now.

I'm glad to hear that the baby is doing well! I at the arms and legs pictures though, that's funny that she gave you those. Btw, just a few weeks into pregnancy, my CM got REALLY thin and watery and has been that way until about a week or so ago. So hopefully it was just a mucus change and not anything to worry about. I hope all the tests come back clear...or well...that they find what's causing the spotting I should say.

YAY for good news!!! I was also going to say that it could very well be CM. When I had my DD I thought my water had broken (well, a leak) bc i had that sort of discharge. It was actually CM due to me dilating but CM can easily get confused with amniotic fluid at times in consistency! I hope good news keeps coming!!

Glad to hear the baby is okay and that you aren't leaking fluid. I hope they're able to figure out what is going on by the time you go back next month.

I'm not sure about the liquid but I spotted for about 5 weeks at the begining of my pregnancy and dr's had no idea why.
