We broke records this week with heat and I end up with a cold. LOL. How does that happen?? It must be all the people (and their germs) hanging out inside in the cool air conditioning. I saw that at least one other person mentioned they have a cold too. Do you ladies know what you can take? I think sudafed is ok, I'm guessing NyQuil is out. I really want to take a nice swig of NyQuil and sleep it off, but I'm thinking that's a no no. I'll probably just tough it out, but I really miss not being able to taste my DH cooked, and I have a feeling it's really yummy. Brisket slow cooked with all kinds of seasonings. I don't want to eat the yummy stuff when I can't taste it, so I had elbow noodles for dinner. yay.

I'm not sure what you can take with a cold. My usual remedy is to just bundle up at night and sweat it out, but that's probably a terrible idea when pregnant. Having a cold sucks.

So, basically, I'm no help But really hope you're feeling better soon!!

I've got a cold too. I woke up last night all sneezy and sniffly, and I just feel crummy.

A coworker of mine said she used safefetus.com to check if medicines were okay to take. Obviously you would want to clear it with a doctor first, but if you're in a pinch, it's probably a good resource. Anything that gets an A or a B is usually on the safe list my doc gave me.
