I was just wondering where you find your baby's heartbeat ???

Every morning, during my lunchbreak and before bedtime I turn on my Angelsounds monitor and go on baby heartbeat hunt.....

I usually find it right above my pubic bone.....it's really hard sometimes, because it seems like peanut is hiding under my pubic bone.....

Is it the same for you, that you find baby that low down there, or is it just my little munchkin that is playing shy ???

Up until about the last week, I have found it right above my pubic bone, angling the want down "behind" my pubic bone.

This week, I am finding it maybe 3" up and slightly to the right. I love that it is moving because it helps me to know that this kid growing.

Mine is still just above the pubic bone but I don't have to angle the wand down anymore, always on the right side now.

It used to be right above my pubic bone but now at 17 weeks my uterus is just about even with my belly button so its kind of in the middle.

I always find my peanut right above my pubic bone and to the left. Sometimes tho, s/he moves and I find it right below my bb. But it seems once I find it, I hear it for 30 seconds, and then it fades cuz baby decides to move. LOL S/he does not like dopplar probes.

Do these vary in prices/brand at all? I noticed our children's consignment shop was selling several of these around $9. I wasn't sure if for $9 they would work, but maybe I should get one!! Are you guys glad you have one?

If this is the monitor I am thinking of that you can just buy at like Babies R Us, from what I heart, it is not useful AT ALL until you are like 30+ weeks. It isn't sensitive enough to pick anything up. I may be wrong, but I think that is the one I am thinking of. So, don't panic.

I have this one: Amazon.com: Hi Bebe Fetal Doppler / Heart Rate Monitor - BT-2O0: Health & Personal Care

Worth every penny...especially if you plan on having more children. We were able to pick up the HB at 9wks. Typically (right now) we find it about 1.5 inches from my "hairline" , almost directly below my belly button, maybe slightly to my right.
