because we have 2 kids already that this baby #3 was an "OOPS". Honestly, I get asked by everyone we tell! Kid you not. Not that it even matters (it was planned) but even if it weren't, WHY would you ask that? Is having more than 2 kids now a days abnormal? It amazes me how many people assumed this baby was an accident! Makes me sad actually....again, not that it really matters as either way, this baby will be loved JUST as much as the other two!

I live in a college town where a lot of babies are "oopsie" babies. I had one cashier once to think my last pregnancy was even though I only had one child in my buggy and I was never without my shiny wedding ring. I hate living in a college town! lol

I always make sure I wear my ring. Lol.
I have 2 bios. 2 steps. And a lot of nieces and nephews. I usually have anywhere from 2 to 6 kids w me when I go out.

I'm just waiting on someone to ask me if our baby was an accident.
I will say yes, I accidentally tripped and fell on my husband and that's how it happened. but I'll use more exciting language.

That is really rude for some to assume that, but it's probably because a lot of people stop at two kids, it's rare for people these days to have 3 or more. Or maybe it's because your DS is still so young? Who knows, who cares! You know you wanted the baby and that's all that matters!

Yah, maybe b/c DS is little still? Not sure, but it seems odd as that is a question I'd never ask! I am too polite like that! haha

thats rude! Ive been kind of getting the same, sometimes people assume that because our youngest is almost 8 that this one is either an oops, or else we had fertility issues.

Oh our dear baby was planned. *I* put a lot of work into it!
I did ALL the work! Dh seriously just laid there and contributed his little guys.
He maybe got in top total of 3 times while we were ttc for a year.
(my fertile weeks lol)
Other than that nothing! All me! So this baby was definitely planned and wanted. But I thinks it is THE rudest thing IRL to ask if it was an accident.
I can see it being ok on a board to ask.

I have never understood why people think it's acceptable to ask if a baby was planned. Who cares if it was or not? It's coming regardless!! When we announce to everyone (whenever that is) I will bite the head off of the first person who asks. I think it's so rude! I'm sorry people are being stupid. Tell them to shove it.

Thanks ladies! I am glad I am not the only one who gets asked even though it is still rude! I am 32 so it's not like I am 'young' (not that it even matters) but when we tell people we are expecting, EVERYONE says "Wow I never saw you with 3 kids". So again, I take that as an insult! haha

TOo sensitive these days!

For what it's worth, 32 is NOT old!! I swear people just lose their filter when it comes to pregnant women!
