I'm so upset we will be moving at the end of the month. We found this AMAZING house in Elgin, Ok. The only problem is they need one of us to sign a rental agreement in person and see the house. I asked if a friend could look at it then we would send the money.Campbell is 12 hours away from there so we can't make like a quick trip. We only have one car so one of us can't take off. They said no and shot us down. I was hoping this would be easier. It would be nice to go to a home instead of hotel hoping till we find a place. The area is really nice 10 minutes from post and everyone says the best school around. Which is what I want for my son he is a smarty pants. It is like perfect for us and our growing family. I feel so stressed out we are waiting on the Army to move us which I heard they are really behind. I'm so praying that everything works out prefect for us. :-( I'm really upset it is perfect 4 bedroom 2 bath 1800 sq feet huge back yard for our two dogs. The house we own which we are putting up for rent never had a back yard and we just recently got dogs to help distract the kids and my self during this last deployment we went though. We really need prayers ladies that no one rents this house before we get there and that everything works out stress free for me. This is my first really move being an Army wife. So the fear of the unknown kills me.
Keep your head up! There will be lots of dream homes and now you know what you want in a house. Dont get stressed over it yet, you still have alittle bit of time. Maybe you can talk to a friend or relative to have a road trip with you can go with them, i am sure someone will want to help you out.
Prayers are on the way!! I know how hard it is to move back and forth as a military wife, they don't make it easy on us at all. The housing is ALWAYS backed up!!!!!!! Just stay calm, be patient and think positive girl!!!!
