So, as I mentioned the other day, I broke my va-jay-jay on Saturday...and it's much better now...though yesterday and today I haven't felt very well. I'm not sure if it's va-jay-jay related or if my m/s is coming back...but the past two days have been rough.

The question I'm battling with is: do I go to the once a month board meeting tonight (6:30 to 9:30 pm!!!) or do I tell them I can't make it? I haven't told them I'm pregnant yet - though I may tell the board chairperson - AND I'm new to the board. It's a volunteer position but, still...

What would you do??

I have been on the board of things (granted they were in high school and college) but I think the appropriate thing to do unless you are in serious pain is to go, tell the chairperson and leave it at that. In college our hall council president showed up to the board meeting and was very flustered, staying very close to the vice president the whole meeting. Obviously something was up but she sat back and the VP took over the meeting. She had been battling morning sickness and was pregnant freshman year of college. The point of what I am trying to say is unless you are in alot of pain I would go.

I hope that didn't seem rude, I honest to God didnt mean to sound rude at all.
Lots of luck with your decision girl!!!

You could always leave if you can't tolerate it, but I think showing up is a good thing.

I would tell the chairman that you are pregnant, just so he/she is aware?
