My bridesmaid dress drama has been resolved. The seamstress is going to use one of the slip layers and create side panels to expand the belly area. They will be hidden under two layers of chiffon, so the panels won't be noticed. YAY! what a relief.

So what's bugging me now is SMOKE has filled my workplace. A building nearby is on fire. I almost was sent to the scene to do the reporting for our newspaper, but luckily they assigned me to take website updates. So, how much smoke is too much for the baby? The smell is faint, but I've been breathing it since 8 a.m. (four hours). Should I be worried?

I know its not a house or building fire but there was a huge wild fire by our house and the smoke was inside for about a week. I am fine and baby is doing fine. I kept all the fans going and didn't open any windows so more smoke wouldn't come in. Main thing is to keep the air circulating. I cant imagine a building fire being good for the baby though with the risk of lead and everything being in the air. A wildfire is a little different because its all trees lol.

Is the building really close or a far away? If it's farther away, I would not worry too much. If it's pretty close, I would be concerned about the chemicals and stuff in the air. It would not hurt to get your doctors opinion to be on the safe side.

BTW, I'm glad you got your dress ordeal fixed now. I bet that's a relief.
