Has anyone else had headaches since entering/nearing the 2nd tri? I've had almost a constant headache for an entire day - all through the night included. I've been drinking fluids...so I don't think it's dehydration? What else could it be (besides the stress my mom is causing me about a baby shower...OMG!!! She doesn't understand "virtual" - we live in CO and she's in GA - and doesn't want to have one until we visit WITH the baby. Um...first? No idea when that'll be. Second? This is our FIRST child. Kinda needed a shower BEFORE the birth. UGH!!!!)

YES! I have had headaches almost all day for the last 2 weeks or so, and it seems like it is just about every day. My doc said to drink 8oz of water every hour and if that didn't help to call her. It helps sometimes, but not all the time. And I can't really drink that much water without my belly feeling too full of water. Ask your doc if they can give you anything for it. I am going to do the same.

I have almost constant head aches, but it's coming from my neck. My neck is really stiff (due to stress, new bed changes and being a lot less mobile that I've ever been). What I find is helping is doing neck excersizes, which relaxes the muscels and sleeping with one pillow of a night and trying not to keep my body allignment as straight as possible and resting heat packs on my shoulders and neck to relax muscels.
I don't know if yours is coming from your neck also, but if you're stressed it'd be worth a try

Headaches are common in pregnant women because of the increase in blood volume during pregnancy. This is an unfortunate side effect of being pregnant. Of course, stress does not help. Hopefully the whole shower thing will work out.

I am right there with you! I started getting mirgaines after my son was born. I like to call them his gift to me! LOL! Now that I am pregnant I can take my medicine. I went to my Nerologist and he gave me a preventative to take daily, and then Tylenol 3 if I really need it. I have not needed the Tylenol 3, but I have been popping Tylenol A LOT. Since I started the preventative I would not call my headaches miragine anymore, more like a dull, dull headache. I will take that over what it was any day! Feel Better!

Wow! You ladies are making me love my pregnancy right now. I had headaches up until I cut my hair. Once I cut it my headaches stopped. I would start with the Tylenol and see how that works for you. Hope you feel better.

I've had a lot of headaches, mostly tension and sinus related. Tylenol, hot showers, and whining to my husband make me feel better.
