Here's a Lasagna recepie from Italy for all you girls...It takes a while but I hope you like it...Hug Jess
Start by making chicken broth.
Mince together onion, carots and celery together with oil and butter and simmer it on low heat.
Cut some bacon in small bits and after a minute add it to the pan which is simmering, add minced meat and put flame higher.
Add red wine and let it evaporate (We’re pregnant so you can leave this part out)
Add Tomato sauce, broth, pepper, salt and cover the pan, but don’t cover completely.
Let it simmer for an hour or so and then add a little bit of milk.
While the ragù is cooking make béchamel
Once the ragù is ready, preheat the oven 160° and star putting together the lasagne: butter a rectangular oven dish (1), put a couple of spoons of ragu, (I usually put a layer under the ragu, so it doesn’t burn) (2) and then a layer of pasta (3),
Add béchamel (4). Add more ragu and some grated parmisan cheese (5). Cover with another layer of pasta (6) and so on….
Ina pan mix a bit of raù with some béchamel (7) and finish the lasagna with the sause from the pan (8) Add some parmisan cheese (grated) and put in oven for 50-60 minutes.
Once in a while che the color, when they have a golden crust then they are ready. When you pull the lasagna out, let it rest for 10 min, cut and serve hot…
