UGH. Totally having tons of braxton hicks tonight. I have been so busy with our trip to NY and then coming home and jumping into cleaning. They seriously have been coming one on top of another for a bit. I am not worried because they aren't uncomfortable at all. However, I am going to take it as a sign to drink more water and rest tonight and tomorrow.

I really hate this part of pregnancy!!

Anyone else having them come all the time anymore?

I have them when I am getting dehydrated or if I get up really fast or something. They never last long and I only ever have them one at a time...never back to back.

my first day back to work I had a ton. That evening my uterus hurt. It was like I was working out any other muscle. I think a lot of it was the stress, and so much movement. They were never regular and not that painful, so I wasn't concerned.

Mine have been acting up a lot. My cervix is still closed so we are holding out okay. My BH and regular contractions do not feel any different so it is impossible for me to tell what is going on without being checked. Anywho... drink some water and rest!!! I make mini goals (silly but it keeps me sane with crazy contractions lol). Viability is not too far away!!!

This is a HUGE thought to me these days! Not sure why but I am so anxious to hit 24 weeks and know baby most likely would be ok. I am almost 22 weeks so can't wait for that point. And I have never had preterm labor so not sure why I am so worried about it. Although, like I said, these feel like braxton hicks, nothing more. I have drank 2 bottles of water since I first posted this.

I haven't felt any this time, but I remember with my fourth pregnancy feeling them super early, many times a day. I thought, for sure, that he would be really early, but, he didn't come until I was in my 37th week. I hope rest and water helps to calm them, for you.

I was just reading today that BH are really common from 19 weeks, hope they pass for you soon, they don't sound fun at all.

On another note, am also really looking forward to 24 weeks, tried explaining to DH why in my head its such a big milestone, but failed miserably. Just seems so important even though most early labours are still way past the 24 week mark.

I had them coming every 3 and 4 minutes last Friday. It was honestly starting to concern me. I was using my phone app to track them.

I was resting in the chair and then decided i better get my bed to bed and truly rest. I had started the day with a good walk and then stayed busy unpacking. Guess it was just too much to take on.

I have an irritable uterus so I have been getting them quite frequently since about 13 weeks and have gone through it with all of my pregnancies. I literally get them from everything if I need to pee, need to eat, push myself too hard, don't drink enough ect. I had monthly u/s's with Caleb to make sure they werent having an effect on my cervix but he was born at 39w4d so this time around I am not worried about it. Just annoyed and tired of them.

This is my third and I have never felt any BH contractions. Maybe I have had them, but I'm just not that in tune with my body

I would not want a baby at 24 weeks but it is a sort of relief to make it over that bump. Every week counts after that for cooking time. If they continue, I would mention it at your appt but hopefully everything is fine. You are not nursing, right? I know that caused my BHs to act up too.

I have an irritable uterus, too. I think it may be because I have placenta previa. All I know is that ANYTHING can cause me to have back to back BH. Going to the bathroom, getting up or down too quickly, walking briskly, lifting or pushing, basically anything.

It sucks, because I was at least hoping to get through this 2nd trimester without making DH do the vacuuming, etc. I have my babies early, and had already planned on taking it easy for my 3rd tri, but I didn't expect the irritable uterus/previa or this many BH this early... it certainly doesn't help my anxiety.

I was just looking at viability by week yesterday. I am already at the stage where I am taking it one week at a time. I would be thrilled to get to 36 weeks (will have a c-section then if placenta does not move), but right now I'm just zeroed in on 28, then it will be 32. I'll feel MUCH better in 7 weeks when I'm at the 28 week mark. I'll feel like a million bucks if I find out my placenta has moved as well. Thank goodness it has been going by really quickly!
