Ok with DS I have to admit... I didnt really need maternity clothes for very long. I started out at 109 lbs and was TINY when I had him. But I just got my order of maternity clothes from Destination Maternity and I must say... Are maternity clothes made to look you round and pregnant??? Cuz holy crap I look big and round. Not in a bad way... but just way more pregnant than in my normal clothes. I must say (without being conceited), I felt so cute and pregnant. I didnt want to take them off. Can't wait to show DH... He LOVES pregnant women bodies. Not in a creepy way.. LOL

I personally don't like some of the really tight styles that are out these days in maternity wear. Some of them make you look like a lollipop!! But, I think the clothes are supposed to make you look pregnant... instead of just fat .. hehehe!

I look a lot more round in my mat pants. I really wanted to just use the belly band and stay in my normal pants for most of the pregnancy but I ended up not liking it. Bummer for that purchase lol.

I am in my maternity pants as of today, and I definitely look more pregnant. Saturday I wore a maternity dress and looked huge. So yes, I think they definitely accentuate the pregnant belly.

I've noticed I look more pregnant in maternity clothes as well. I'm not a big fan of super tight clothes, but that's mostly because my breasts are huge now and I find it to be in poor taste to show them off. I like that the mat clothes make my bump look more like a bump since I'm still fairly small.

Yes, they are shaped to go around your growing belly so they naturally will make you look pregnant. I am not in maternity clothes yet, but I will be soon.

Well I got the maternity pants with the Secret Fit panel and it goes all the way up to your boobs and man is that weird but oh so comfy. Plus I can fold it down. All my shirts are pretty loose... the kind that tie at the back and are flow-y. I have one form fitting shirt that is so cute. And I got some PJs and I opened them up and this little baby nightgown fell out and I seriously almost cried. Our first thing for the baby...

I love love love maternity pants. The minute my regular pants started getting tight, I got in handmedown maternity clothes and instantly felt cozy, comfy. I prob look more pregnant in them since they hug the bump, defining it.

Mine are too long except for the one pair that I got small petite. *sigh* I guess I can be the nerd with the rolled up pants. LOL.

haha, or get them hemmed! Mine are a bit long but not long enough to annoy me. i'm still rocking my regular jeans with a rubber band or belly band depending on how lazy i feel.

with tyler i was an 8 starting out. This time i was a 4...ordered a 4 and when they came in they said 6...i tried them on and they fit a lot smaller than my 8s so i figured maybe they were just mislabeled...but maybe they weren't? Who knows...my belly isn't big enough to worry about it yet...maybe in another 2 months! haha

I just put on a pair of mat capris it was on top of my dresser and I wanted to bring my kids outside so I just grabbed them. to my surprise they actually fit and are as comfy as I remember. I can still button up my normal jeans though so I am wearing those otherwise. I have bought mat clothing in different sizes so I go grow into some earlier and into others when I'm bigger.

I definitely noticed when I was pregnant with DS that maternity clothes accentuated my bump more. I liked it because apparently I have a very annoying tendency for my bump to look more like a gut than a baby bump for the first half of pregnancy haha.
