Maternity jeans out of an old pair of jeans! This was my first attempt at sewing and the stitches are HORIBBLE but the jeans are functional and you won't be able to see the part that I sewed. It was pretty easy too. I wish I had another pair of jeans that fit me pre-pregnancy. I lost too much weight to wear the jeans I was wearing before. Maybe I'll do some old shorts... Anyways here they are... an old pair of jeans from PacSun. OH and I forgot to add that I used an old cami from Aeropostale that the strap had broke from. VERY SIMPLE ladies...

I used this really simple tuturial... CREATE STUDIO: Easy Maternity Jeans Tutorial The only thing that I did different was cut the zipper out and sew the crotch closed so that I wouldn't have to sew around the zipper. It was so simple though. I wish I had pins though so my lines could of been at least semi straight. LOL.

Wow, that's awesome! Since I've been the same size for about 10 yrs, I don't think this would work for me.... but I might find some at a second hand store or something. Thanks for sharing the idea!

Oh, Oh!! I have a pair of yoga pants that I caught on a drawer handle and ripped, so I used the to paint int and the paint all over the legs makes them too itchy to wear - but the huge black waist band is mint! I've sewn a few blankets and pillows for babies before, so I have a little practice. Fun project idea that is really practical!
