Ugh. That's the worst. When Jeff gets up in the morning, I start to wake up and sneeze three or four times. Half the time, I have to get up and change and then I can't go back to sleep.

so instead of getting up at 4 a.m. to empty the bladder, which this little one has been making me do daily since 8wks, I had a pee dream and peed the bed a little. so embarrassing. DH kept rolling toward my side of the bed too.

I know this is a pregnancy symptom for you guys, but I've had Stress Incontinence my entire life. lol. So, it's the one thing that I am actually completely used to.

This happened to me with my last pregnancy. Every time I'd sneeze, on the second sneeze only, a little pee would come out. Dh and I would laugh about it...he and my dd would hear me all over the house...first sneeze, second sneeze, then me saying, "Aww man!!"

Fortunately, it went away for me after she was born.

Hasn't happened yet this time around, but it's so annoying!!

Oh I'm SOOOOO glad I'm not the only 'sneeze and pee' girl out there! yay I have to hold the muscles down there really tightly or cross my legs when I sneeze or occasionally out a lil bit comes! Sooooo gross. It's especially back if Im sitting down relaxing and the sneeze just comes out of no where!

Kegels.... I HATE doing these,,, mainly because I don't know if I'm doing it right. I know you are supposed to squeeze the muscles that control your urine flow? It just seems like im clenching my butt muscles??? It doesnt feel like its doing anything? Or is it?

The best way to figure out which muscles you use for your kegels is to go to the bathroom, stop midflow (I know pregnancy makes this hard!!) and go do something for about 10 minutes, then go back to the bathroom. It will help you understand exactly what muscles you use for kegels.

As for the whole sneeze and pee thing....ya I do that too! I'm currantly bff's with panty liners! Its not as bad as it was a few weeks ago since the baby has been moving up, but it still happens now and then!!

I was seriously fixing to write the same post. I have been sick for the past week and half and having coughing fits which means I'm wetting myself constantly. I have always done kegals, even not being pregnant and it's not helped anything. I'm going to bring it up at my appointment because it's not just a little coming out. I can cough once or twice and it floods an overnight pad after just going to the bathroom. Maybe I'm not getting my bladder emptied all the way out or something?

I haven't had this happen yet but I have an overactive bladder so I'm always getting up to pee, even before pregnancy.
