JCPenney : Grace Bedding and Accessories by Bananafish

I'm having a hard time finding a boy crib set that I like. I want to start getting ideas in my head cause we have some stuff in the nursery we need to do. Painting is one, fixing some shelves is another. So I want to have all my ducks in a row. I think I like this set. What do you think?

I agree with Donise. I think the colors are great but not sure about the floral print with a boy. But really if you like it than go for it!

I like it. Hmm, I don't know about the floral print. It's not too girly though, as it's more of a subtle classic flower than a bright flower.

I like it but not for a boy due to flowers on it my husband would shoot me if I got something like that and we were having a boy.

I love it for a boy or a girl! The "floral" print I was expecting doesn't look flowery at all to me. They look like circles. Maybe rose buds, but it's a stretch. Even the flora on the bumper looks more like branches. Perfectly gender neutral IMHO.

Besides, the bedding is not for the baby, it's for you to look at while you're feeding the baby several times a night.

I didn't see the flowers either. lol. But DH wouldn't have it. He wouldn't even let me get a white crib b/c he said it looked to girly. =[ I tried to explain that he only thought it looked girly b/c the model had a pink bedding set in it (or maybe it only looked "girly" b/c it was 30% more expensive than the cherry model. Either way.

it is pretty but doesn't scream boy to me either. My mom made our bedding, and i loved it but looking back i would have just picked something simple. I love the stuff pottery barn kids has.

I really like it. I really don't like the tone on tone flower print. I think it's really Fung Shui. I like how soft and neutral it is.

Only because it has a little bit of flowers, it doesn't mean that it's for girls only. Otherwise, I'm sure they would have made it more obviously for baby girls only. I think that bedding was meant to be gender neutral.

I think I've searched through about 700 baby boy sets and I'm just not finding stuff I like. I think I'm going to just get something plain and simple and just bring stuff into the room to decorate. Idk what else to really do at this point. I've found some I like but I'm not spending that much that they want.

There is a site it's babysupermall.com and it's has TONS of bedding and accessories and even paint that matches the sets...this is where were are getting ours from! And it's really easy to sort what you want to see. Or, depending on what you want to spend, try ETSY and just have it made.

I found some cute stuff on Amazon. They had a really cute set that had guitars and drums on it that I thought were cute that I hadn't seen before. They have a big variety.

Angel Baby Magic Carpet 5 Piece Crib Bedding Set

I think I'm going to just go with this and the website has a whole section for decorating a room in blues and greens. I'm painting the walls blue and decorating with greens, blues, and yellows.

can you sew? Or do you know anyone who would sew for you? I'm sewing the bedding for my baby. I little quilt, the bumpers, bedskirt... The only thing I'll buy is the fitted sheet because I hate sewing elastics. I'm very fussy when it comes to decorating, and I didn't see anything I liked for a boy (not sure of the gender yet, but huge intuition it's a boy).

I really like the colors! Go for it if you like it, but I think the pattern is a little feminine.
