i almost blacked/passed out at kmart today it was so scary
all of a sudden i got a hot flash and had to stop pushing the cart
started to get dizzy feeling and everthing around me was spinning
I then waited a min and went into the checkout line and actually had to get out of the line and sit on the floor bc everything was going blank. I actually think if i wouldnt have sat down that i would have blacked out and possibly fall and would have been in an ambulance going to the ER... while i was sitting on the floor leaning on the wall in the front of the store the cashier asked me if i needed water bc i looked so pale but nobody rushed over to see if i was ok or anything.

I got up and checked out and started feeling dizzy again so I sat down on the bench for about 10mins then my cousin drove me back to her house which was only like 5mins away but i felt fine at the point but oh my it was so scary and hopefully it wont happen again.

That's really scary, I've had that happen to. It's especially scary when there is no explanation. Could be lack of food, water, too hot...who knows. Hope it doesn't happen again!

It is really hot here but its been hot the whole pregnancy

I got up around 6:45 this am ( like every morning ) then went and got the kids ready for school was about 9ish when i laid back down till actually 12:00

then i had a bowl of cereal and split a brownie with my mom

i picked up my son from school around 2:15 headed to my cousins house then we went to kmart around 3ish was there about 10mins looking at the baby clothes which they didnt have anything so i was going to grad something to drink and head back to her house when all of a sudden that started so scary...

i have never had any issue with my sugar or blood pressure so not sure what really happened but i agree hopefully it never happens again... I think if it happens again this weekend ill probably go to the ER and i have another doctors appt in 2 weeks ill mention it to my doctor then

Sounds like it could be a lack of food, u have a parasite (given a cute adorable lovable parasite) that is taking ur nutrients, a bowl of cereal and half a brownie by 3 may not be enough nutrient. This happens to me a lot while pregnant so I have had to make it habit to carry food in my purse, stuff that wont melt but r ez to eat, like the applesauce pouches. Or fruit cups. Hope it doesn't happen again!

Oh that is scary. It could be one of many factors....food, water, hormones, blood pressure.

Sounds like me when I get low blood sugar. I try to drink a little juice and keep snacks in my purse when I'm out and about. Maybe try snacking throughout the day? Also, I would definitely let your OB know when you go back in so they can check your blood pressure and make sure it's all okay.

I've had this happen before and I agree it's scary. I'm pretty sure mine was from a blood sugar drop.

Oh so scary I'm glad you're okay! Hope it doesn't happen again. I know I have to eat more often when I'm pregnant, a very similar situation happened to me when I was pregnant with DS I almost passed out when I was checking out at the grocery store. It was so scary and uncomfortable. Now I always bring snacks with me during pregnancy anywhere I go just in case it happened again.

I'm glad your okay. I had a spell before my last doctor's appointment and he said sometimes at this point in pregnancy our blood pressure will drop and it can cause the faint or dizzy spells.
