So I'm lying in bed, rubbing my new hard belly. I discovered that my belly is a great deal more solid on the right of my belly button.
Why is one side harder? Ha ha!

And it's not overly solid down low, but it's like a brick closer to my belly button. Does this mean I'm likely to carry very high?

To me it sounds like you were having a Braxton Hicks contraction. That's how they feel, like your baby is balled up tight in one spot. Did it smooth out after a while?

LOL My right boob is bigger, but the left side of my belly is harder/bigger. We're just all kinds of lopsided.

It may actually be the baby...I can tell when she's settled really low because I can feel her like this on the outside, you can almost see like an outline of a little bean shape where she's all curled up.

Or I'm wrong and its something totally different

Mine did that at my u/s. He was face down and the tech needed him to move over to get a shot at his heart so she had me lay on my side. When I rolled back to my back he was laying on his side and my right side was larger and harder. I notice my belly is like that most morning after I've been laying on my side. I think that's just where the baby is laying- maybe on it's side like mine!

I think it's the baby. Mine always prefers the right side, always has. The heartbeat is ALWAYS on that side too.

Baby's position can make one side feel harder/bigger. The top of my belly is always hard as a rock, while the underside of my bump is a little less firm, like yours. I tend to carry high, and have a short torso, so I always assumed the combo of these things was why.
