DH and I (err I) narrowed down our top two pics and pretty much haven't strayed from them for many weeks. Wanna help us decide? we aren't sharing with friends and family so you all are the peanut gallery!

I put possible nicknames in brackets and possible spellings in brackets, so if you prefer a spelling, I'm interested in your opinions on that too!!!

which name do you prefer

Jacob Rafael Colomello (Jake)
Alexander Rafael Colomello (Alex or lex)

Anna Kate (or Caitlyn/Katelyn) Colomello (annabelle)
Leah (Lea) Luciana Colomello (Lee-Lou or Leah Lou)

I like Anna Kate the best for a girl.

However, I like BOTH your boy's names!! So, I can't really help you there, except to tell you they are both really good names.

I LOVE Jacob (Jake)... if we were having a boy this was VERY high on our list

I like Leah better than Anna... but only if it's pronounced Lee-Ah not Lee. Otherwise I like Anna better

I like the second choices on both. =) Rafael is a little too fancy--for lack of a better word--for Jacob imo. The first girl name is cute, but sounds a bit young, and she won't be young forever.

Alexander Rafael Colomello (Alex or lex)

Anna Kate (or Caitlyn/Katelyn) Colomello (annabelle)

but i love, Lee-Lou too. We call my daughter Leela, because my boyfriend's daughter couldn't say Melissa when she started talking. she called her "timmy" at first, so leela was better, lol, and it has stuck. i love it.

I really like Jacob Rafael Colomello (Jake) and Anna Kate (or Caitlyn/Katelyn) Colomello (annabelle). I loved the name Jake, but DH didn't so we won't get to use it. And I know a guy from Costa Rica named Rafael and he goes by Rafa which I think is cool too. Anna Kate is a great name and I love Anabelle for a nickname. My daughters name is Ella and many people call her Ellabella as a nickname. Also, for an alternative spelling of Leah, a friend of ours has a daughter with that name, but they spelled it Leigha, which I had never seen before but I really like.

I like both boy names so hard to pick, and i think anna kate sounds better with your last name though they are both really cute.

My daughters name is gianna isabella, and I call her giannabella all the time. pronounced ja nah bella.

such great choices either way!

OMG you guys, Anna got 5 votes, Leah got 5 votes. Jake got 5 votes and Alex got 4 votes! lol. so close, I guess that means we're on the right track.

Thanks for all the amazing feedback.

*Rafael is DH's father's name and he passed of cancer when DH was little, so we wanted to pay tribute. RAFA is such a cute idea!!!
