I am a side sleeper but It requires me to sleep on my belly as well. I love laying on my belly but it is starting to get uncomfortable. Maybe a nice bath and try some pillows for some support. That always helps me relax. Hope you feel better.
i normally find that i wake up on my stomache
and its usually sore for an hour or so then starts feeling better afterwards
i just try to lay with a pillow underneath me so im not actually laying directly on my belly
I've always heard that it becomes uncomfortable for us to sleep on our bellies WELL before it becomes "unsafe" for babies. They are so well protected in there! If the soreness gets worse or if you are still worried anyway, just call your Dr. and let them know your worries.
I have heard that it is fine as long as it is still comfortable for you. But if you are having pain, it may not be a good idea. Ask your doctor. I have always been a belly sleeper and still am. I fall asleep best on my belly. I hate it when my belly gets too big for it to be comfortable anymore. Glad I can still do it so far!
