My legs are constantly numb and I am sick and tired of it. On the rare occasion they are not going through the numb tingly feeling then they are in a ton of pain. I talked to my shot nurse yesterday when I was there and she asked me about swelling which I don't have any and said its more common to get numbness in your arms from the shoulder swelling. So between that and having contractions at 19 weeks while on Progesterone therapy for threatened miscarriage she had me schedule an appointment with the doctor tomorrow. I think that baby is just sitting on a nerve or a vessel or something that goes to the legs so question is has anyone had numbness in the legs that wasn't just baby sitting on a nerve. Nathaniel was on the sciatic nerve and caused lots of back and leg pain that felt like getting electrocuted so I got used to that but this is different.

Are you crossing your legs? I noticed that can happen when I do so.

I think my doctor said sciatica can cause just plain numbness as well. I got a horrible case of it with the twins m/c. Absolutely debilitating. My right leg goes numb when I cross them, and I'm really hoping it's not sciatica starting to emerge. What can I do if I can't take ibuprofen?

I am pretty sure that it is just baby pushing on a nerve I went on a 20 minute walk the other day during lunch and they didn't wake up hoping I get physical therapy because I didn't have massage benefits with nathaniel but this time I do so I will get weekly pregnancy massage.

I get sciatica whenever I am pregnant. Mine is horrible when I get to the 3rd trimester and I can barely walk. It's already beginning with this pregnancy. When I lay on my side or sit a certain way my legs go numb.

My legs are numb a lot too, it's weird to feel like you've been sitting on your butt all day when you are walking around, I've just assumed it's sciatica, I have no pain from it, just numbness

Sounds like sciatica to me. Sorry, I know it sucks, I've had it before (not pregnancy related).

Well doctor says its concerning that it is starting so early this time but gave me the order for physical therapy. I have my first appointment on Wednesday so hopefully it will at least help because feeling like I don't have legs is freaky.
