Sorry to hear that. I've heard that the proper way to "go to the bathroom" to avoid hemerrhoids is keep your feet up and lean forward. It simulates the squatting position we're anatomically supposed to use, but don't anymore. Bring a stool into the bathroom, that's what I did. I think it should relieve some pain, but then also reduce incidence of future ones.

OMG I had one a few weeks ago. My doctor told me that it was ok to use Preparation H. But they also suggest Tucks pads, and witch hazel or something like that. I think that's the ingredient in the Tucks pads. I didn't use both of them cause using two things at once kind of scared me so I just got baby wipes and made sure that everything was squeaky clean every time. I also had to go home from work one day because it hurt so bad. I just had to lay on my side all weekend. That helped a lot too. So use Tucks or preparation H, get you some baby wipes to clean everything off, and get lots of rest. I hope it goes away soon!!
ive been dealing with them off and on for like 5 years
i even had to have one surgically removed a few years ago they suck
i have one now that flares up here and there.. rubbing alittle bit of vasline on it seems to help me out
after this baby is born i am getting this one and any new ones removed as soon as possible
