I really, really don't want to go into detail at this time but the ER doctor dropped a bombshell on me when he came in. It's completely unrelated to the ER visit, but they found something in my labwork and I am totally crushed. It's not a std or anything like that, but I will have to be monitored for the rest of the pregnancy and most likely long after it, and there is really nothing they can do to actually treat the problem. I know it's cruel to not go into more detail, but I'm in shock and I need more time to wrap my head around the situation, but if I'm not on JM or at least don't post a lot, you guys will know why. I'll be spending a lot of time in bed, so it could go the complete opposite and I'll have nothing better to do. I just don't know. I just want more time to think about what to say and how to say it and how much to share. Idk. Maybe I shouldn't even post anything at all, and I'm truly sorry if I annoy anyone with how vague I'm being.

All that being said, he did let me go home tonight, but I have to come back Monday for more labs and then they will refer me to a specialist for long-term monitoring.

No need to feel sorry for not wanting to share more. It's very understandable.

I'm so sorry you got bad news. I hope you and the baby are and will be ok.

Thanks, everyone. I'm kinda of depressed about the situation and don't have much to say, but thank you. And DH is taking really good care of me. I just hope baby and I both make it and that we get a lifetime together.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry. Let me know if there is anything any of us can do. A year ago, DH was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. He had his right kidney removed and thank god is fine now. I hope and pray that is the end of it. I know how scared you must be no matter what is going on, your health is so important and not knowing what the future holds is very scary. I will keep you in my prayers, hugs sweetie.
