I went out dancing last night and had a good time but my body is so sore...I will take it easy next time but until I get huge I want to enjoy going out with my hubby and friends. Has anyone danced pregnant? I know its a form or exercise and its probably good for my muscles. Just wanted input.

As you can tell, I dance and do other things. As long as it doesn't harm my baby then I'm fine. One of my instructors is actually incharge of us preggos making sure we do things correctly.

And NO, I'm not a stripper lol.

That is awesome! I have always wanted to learn, I heard that is great exercise! I love how we have identical bumps! I just went out and shook my butt and legs off as now I can barely walk!

Wow! I'm sooo impressed! We don't have any classes like that where I live, but it looks really fun!

As for dancing, I have a workout DVD that is prenatal belly dancing. It's pretty fun and you get a really good stretch/workout. I know if you live in a bigger town/city there are lots of places that have prenatal belly dance classes...but not here in our little town.

Oh, I"m the only pregnant chic one doing it there. My instructor though did it her whole pregnancy so they just alter moves for me and the belly lol. But I didn't want to lose my strength during the pregnancy so I just kept going with it.

My friend just got married on Friday. All of my girl friends were up dancing, while all of the guys sat and talked about football and blah, blah, blah. My tummy hurt so bad, as well as my back, I ended up hanging out with the guys! UGH!

I think that dancing is great for you and baby! So long as it is not wearing you out so much that it becomes unenjoyable, I say go for it!!!

And, woah, Danee! That is impressive to say the least!

Marissa, it is an awesome work out but the only reason they let me keep doing it is because I started before I was pregnant, like the place by your house. I thought when I first started it I'd be so shy about doing stuff but that quickly goes out the window. And they have every type of woman taking classes there so that really helps too. It's not just all twigs or strippers lol. In fact I only know of one that takes classes sometimes.

wow! love the pic! I teach bellydance and trance/sacred dance. I also do fire dance and hooping but I did quit those temporarily because I didn't want baby to be exposed to the chemicals and smoke of fire dancing and hooping is a lot of baging around your belly so...ya know. still bellydancing though. and learning to pole dance is next on my list after baby is born. can't wait!!
