So I'm 22 weeks and had little movement, the baby kicked about 1 week ago but never again. This past Monday the baby wiggled and kicked eve 2 hours, so I figured that would be normal going forward....well Tuesday came and went with little to no movement (wasn't too worried), Wednesday came and went without movement (that I could tell) ....and last night I started crying bc I was stressed by it. Today I scheduled an appointment and stressed till 3:30 pm... The baby was fine and I was relived...the doc old me not go worry about movement right now, that me feeling it depends on the baby's position... So on my way home guesssssssss who decided to start wiggling and kicking??? Little Miss Victoria!!!!!! I almost gave her a riot act!! Lol

Lesson: 22 weeks is too early to track movement

Glad everything was okay. I freaked out yesterday because baby girl had not moved all day and she usually kicks like crazy. I grabbed the doppler and she was just fine. Little stinker!

I think I'm going to be in your shoes. I check the baby's hb almost everyday because I'm just not really feeling anything yet.

It seems like that always happens...baby decides it is party time just after mom has things checked out due to lack of movement. Little stinkers! LOL So glad that everything is okay!

Victoria wasn't being very nice. Did you try drinking juice and laying on your side?

Em gave us a scare about 8 months. She didn't move for nearly 20 hours even after I had consumed sugary drinks. I went to the doctor and everything was fine. She said the little joker was just sleeping. Girls...I tell ya!

Thansk ya'll.

I tried everything on Wednesday:

drinking juice
laying on each side
placed my hand on both sides to detect movement
wiggled my stomach
poked my stomach
hummmed hoping she'd hear it
used a heart detector thingyy (forgot what they are called)...

all this lead up to me crying the night away.

I also decided its time buy a doppler, its arriving Tuesday!!! Never again Victoria!!

Nathaniel did that to me at 38 weeks didn't move no matter what for hours I finally went to L&D freaking out. This was on mothers day they hooked me up to the monitors and his heart was fine so they did an ultrasound and he was moving just very slow the nurses said he was giving me a break as a mothers day gift lol. Boy did he ever make up for his lack of movement the next day.
