I am looking for 2 boy retro owl mobiles...and I can't find one for $50 bucks.

So since I am pretty crafty I thought that I would just buy the mobile parts and make my own owls to attach them. But, I can't any where to buy the parts.

Someone said to buy a cheap one at Walmart and then add the owls, but those are still $22 each.

Any other suggestions!!

Look at second hand stores for working mobiles, Craigslist, and such. You can probably find some in good working order for cheap.

OMG! That is so cute! I don't want one that plays music...having two go at the same time will drive me crazy! I do want ones that move. I will have to play around with the stick idea! Super cute!

I think those would move more often than not...and i'm sure the babies would be fascinated by the different colors and you could use the colors in your nursery. Looks like they just used regular string and sticks...i thought they were super cool!!

I love Crafty Mama! She was in my last DDC and has some of the BEST ideas!

My sister in law got some craft wire, some butterfly cutouts and tulle and made a gorgeous spiral mobile to put over the changing table!
