3 8oz bricks of cream cheese
1 16oz bottle of ranch or bleu cheese dressing
2lbs of chicken (cooked and chopped or hand shredded)
2 bottles of Franks Red Hot Thick
a bag or two of tortilla chips (scoops are best!)
1. boil chicken until cooked. boneless, skinless chicken breasts work, or anything that's on sale.
2. combine red hot, cream cheese and dressing in a large crock pot on LOW heat.
3. Once chicken is cooked, drain, hand shred (or chop). hand shredding is my prefered way, it blends better with the ingredients that way. put into crock pot.
4. stir occasionally
5.Once the cheese is melted and bubbling, then it is done.
6. scoop some into a tortilla chip and enjoy!
btw.. this is NOT my original recipe. I am NOT a cook at all. This is totally stolen from my friend jenn, but it's so yummy I can't help but share the wealth!
Oh my gosh - why did I read this? I've had this before and it is absolutely best thing I've ever had EVER. Now I need to go make it. Although we use canned chicken instead of doing our own and I've never made it in the crockpot before. Yum!
